I started with DnD 3.0 back in 2000 and only started playing 4.0 a few months back, though we've only had 4 or 5 games (and we're still level 1, DM is stingy with XP -_-).
I've also played the D20 Star Wars and Modern along with the some very old DC Heroes roleplaying game, a wee-bit of Vampire: the Masquerade before 2000, and some Call of Cthulu.
Still, I think I like DnD 4.0 the best, especially once they get it completely fleshed out.
I REALLY like running games, though I haven't in a while. When I made the switch to 4th I sold my 3.5 books so I want to get a better grip on 4th first. That's fine with me since I need to take some time to finish writing the campaign I'm currently working on.
i dont play dnd anymore. i use the dnd source books for steampunk. im about to transition from sr3 to sr4 when i get the money.
i am a gm, have been since 03. i rarely get to be a player anymore.
I used to play a little D&D 3.5
I play a lot of "Marvel Superheroes." Though admittidly by myself. The game is set up pretty loosely so it gives a lot of variety and settings that i can run my own guys through.
It baffles me why the Fallout series is the only well done game that stays true to a D20 setting. Sure you've got stuff like KOTOR but that went real action.
