I am buying a used 40GB Ps3 for a certain person for a certain reason from Gamestop for 229.99 and I need to know...... Is this a good idea? Or are used PS3s on sale destined to break within months? Thanks in advance!

OT. Check your local Craigslist, I have been seeing a lot of PS3 going for around $200 plus extra games and stuff.
