Okay, I know GH5 recently came out. Theres also a Van Halen version out there somewhere. Theres also DJ Hero, which I reeealy can't wait for. Then I keep seeing ads for Band Hero. What is that??

Is it different from GH5? Any new features? Does it have a different concept? If GH5 supports a whole band (drummer, bass and guitar player, and singer) then why Band Hero? Can anyone shine some light here??

It is about milking the franchise for all its worth. Seriously, I think it has a more family based track list, but I'm not 100% sure.

It's a children/family oriented title, more family friendly tracks and it's easier.
Kind of like Lego Rockband that has the same focus.

This has clearly gone to far, no wonder musicgame sales are down when there is nothing really new. The Beatles: RockBand is pretty good though.

The game features more pop/ mainstream music like maroon five, lily allen, Taylor swift. etc.
