The Wii outsells the ps3 this holiday 1.5:1
but the HD twins outsell the Wii
in a few weeks the wii should get back a significant lead (though the 50% days are probably over)....
I do see PS3 staying a little above 360...not enough to close the gap by end gen though (like 20k a week or 1M a year ^^)

Well, it better and it will. I expect 400k plus for this week.

Well I definitely expect Wii to follow traditional price cut trends. Meaning anywhere from a 30% to 50% increase over the last week of sales. Which means Wii should be in a range of about 210,000 to 240,000 next Wii give or take. Now of course PS3 might be starting to hit a leveling off part or maybe last week was just a "fluke". So I'd assume that PS3 would be in the 190,000 to 220,000 range this next week depending on the magnitude of it's fall. So of course there is a chance that pS3 could still outsell the Wii. Actually I'd say there is still a pretty good chance. Wii may not have traditional trends considering it already is at a particular mass market price and current top brand.
But I'd still give the upper hand to the Wii but PS3 will still be close... unless of course this last week was just a "fluke" for PS3 which I doubt.
Actually, not to derail the thread too much, I'm more curious of how the PSP Go will be a determinant for this week. I mean PSP was at 100k flat last week. It is really the one I want to see how a new SKU will affect sales. I think it's pretty easy to at least get in the ballpark of Wii and PS3 and even 360 but PSP is I think the big question. It's obviously in a lot of trouble and it has something that could potentially help fix the problem. That's my big question is how will this do and can it really help get PSP out of trouble.
Yes, the Wii seems to be an unstoppable force. Even if the PS3 outsells it for the rest of the gen, I have a feeling that the Wii would still be ahead.

The PS3 would probably have to not only outsell it, but sell it many times over to even catch up. So it isn't a just a feeling I would say.
