i don't know if you watched the whole thing..except the funny part of it is not the punchline but the fact that its a 4 minute joke that only needs to be 15 seconds

Did you watch the whole Scrubs clip and not just the first 15 seconds?  He does the same thing after Turk tells him the joke.  Yeah, it's under the context that he forgot the punch line so he's just extending it so he can remember but it's still the same exact thing.

And they could have had JD sit there and fumble for four minutes, but they only have so much time since it's a sitcom and only Family Guy is that uncreative.

Now what's really funny besides Norm McDonald's fading into obscurity and desperatly trying to revive himself is that the episode of Scrubs that I got that clip from was on last night (which is why I actually remembered it).

Only one of these clips is actually funny.

His routine was so-so up until the end.  That last punchline made me laugh.
