Just entered the mountains and got slaughtered by two fat guys. Guess I need to do some grinding...

yes you do what level are you at

I'm a level 10 Fighter.

I hate that I can't check how my stats would improve before I buy weapons/armor.

Try to level up your other jobs too. Put all your stats to things that will help you as a fighter though. That should be a "quicker" solution to grinding, and the preferable one.

I didn't realize how strong wind is against dragons. My level 1 wind hits 10 times more than my lvl 10 fire when fighting dragons. That means I can 1 hit KO a land Dragon easily with just lvl 1 wind. So if anybody plays as a mage, boost your wind.

I think I want to be a theif next.

Didn't dib8erman say to level up each job to lvl. 15 or something?

I don't think so, but in the beggining you should level each job to 5. Then every 10 lvls in your main job, level up 5 more for the others(or when you hit a good way to gain EXP like the Land Dragon in the mines later on in EP1, lvl it up as much as you can.) Not only do they boost your overall base stats, but you can use the stat points for whatever Job you specialize in. It is also nice to use the skills of other Jobs even if you don't main in them. For example, I mainly use Mage skills, but since I want to be an Anchor(advance class) I will boost my Priest skills. Not only that, but I like some of the spells that come with being a Priest. So if you want to get anywhere in this game you have to level up the other Jobs. I plan to max every job to 50 eventually.

yea, get your self into Rhianos Mountains, at one of the junctures there's a dead end oval, which might as well be an Arena, there is a sky dragon there and some crab monsters around there. Cycling through them should yield level 15 on all job classes pretty easily.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

I was interested in this game. It is like Dark Cloud?

Hm... I forget what dark cloud is like exactly...

Lol it doesn't have gold in it =P.

This game is similar to PSO, but it also has a Monster Hunter feel as well as a Diablo feel, but at the same time it has it's own thing going on.

To me is it a good game?

I described my thoughts in the OP, but yes I'd give this a buy again knowing what I know now.
