ODST looks to sell around 6 mill lifetime, which could even eclipse the original Halo!

Where do you think the Halo Franchise will sit sales wise by the end of this gen?

nice....next week the halo franchise will have +30 million sold...

Because Halo is the BEST console FPS!!!

Its like Mario is the BEST platformer and GT is the BEST racer.

My guess is ODST does 5m in 1 year before Reach comes out and kills its sales.

EDIT: didn't see your last question about end of gen total sales, so

~6-7m for ODST
~11.7-12.5m for Halo 3
~2-2.5m for Halo Wars
~10m for Halo Reach (due to possible short life if we are only counting up until the next microsoft console launches)

Halo Franchise Total -

15.54 + (29.7-31) = 45.24-46.54m units sold

Yeah not so much Halo 3, but I can see ODST legs being short lived.

Good numbers, Halo really is a software beast. Also, and maybe I am just nitpicking, but why include the Halo 2 Map Pack, its not really its own game is it? Plus its not like Halo will need the help getting to 30M or even 40M for that matter. It may even see 50M depending on ODST sales.

Great sales, i can see Halo Reach better than 3 if they advertise it.

with how well it sold i was surprised to see copies in the stores around here.

Accidently hit post before I was done. But yeah Reach should be huge, very close to Halo 3 numbers. Grats to Bungie, now lets see if you are more than a one trick pony.

Yeah, Halo is a beast!  I could see 45-47 million Halo games sold by the end of this generation.
