I didn't see this posted anywhere yet and I know a lot of people on here are pretty excited about this.  Plus the trailer was pretty cool (if a small bit cheesey at the beginning).  Enjoy.

I don't know. I heard Rygar Wii is going to be a remake of the PS2 game. Although the PS2 game was pretty good, unless it's budget priced I don't see me buying it again. I would much rather it bet a sequel. Still, diskarmor thrown with the Wiimote is pretty cool.

It is indeed a PS2 remake, albeit with a 'stylish'(?) new main character (and probably other minor changes). I think they might try to get away with a full-price release, as many current Wii owners have probably never heard of the original game.

I disagree. For one thing this is obviously a linear game. It looks a lot like what a 3D remake of the old NES game should look like. That's a lot what the swinging mechanic was like back on the NES, and they needed to keep that in tact for fans to enjoy this. Bionic Commando had games before Spider-Man ever did. According to the initial announcement there will be a bunch of arm upgrades and stuff too. I think it could be pretty cool

It could be cool and should be cool, but I doubt it will be. The swinging is way too Spiderrific for me. We'll see though.
