Gun Possession Of Questionable Value In An Assault

In a first-of its-kind study, epidemiologists at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine found that, on average, guns did not protect those who possessed them from being shot in an assault. The study estimated that people with a gun were 4.5 times more likely to be shot in an assault than those not possessing a gun.

Well duh if you are assaulting a group of people which person are you going to aim at first? The armed or the unarmed?

Maybe they were playing a paintball game with hostages or something.

Scientist: Now lets put you all in a hypothetical situation. You are assaulting a group of people (you, yourself are armed of course), however in the corner of your eye you see one of them is carrying a registered firearm... What do you do?

Guy1: Shoot that mutha F**KA in the face!

Guy2: I agree, it would be highly logical to take out the armed man, that way I can continue assaulting the rest of the people and plundering their hard earned monies.

Scientist: Yes I seeeee. Finally we have proof that owning legally registered firearms is dangerous, yes... goooood.

I cant believe the national institute of health even funded that. The title alone sounds ridiculous and the spin in the article causing me to scratch me head at them more than once.

This just in folks! Guns are stupid, if somebody enters your home without your permission fear not! According to this new study if you just stand there and do what you told and let them steal,rape,vandalize, or any other sort of dastardly deed, you will come out ok. Its only if you own a gun will they shoot you down. Also this just in baseball bats or any other blunt objects are included and will cause your attacker to come out guns-a-blazin.
