btw Family Guy at least to me is better than Futurama, though Futurama comes would probably make a very good attempt at being better if they had made more series earlier.

sorry yes, that was a bit wrong.

i was just noting that they are only just making a new series now...when they should have continued.

Heh... they didn't really stop making the show by choice.

Really, the great thing about Futurama is how it gets better and better over each of the volumes. By the time they reach the fourth volume, the characters are so well-developed that the events presented can have real emotional heft. I know of several people who have been brought to tears by a Futurama episode. How many animated shows can claim that?

I love this how, and will be buying every dvd I can get. I think less of people that don't like it.

For sure! Fox never liked the deal they had with Groenig, so they did everything they could to kill the show. Groenig learned his lesson after being taken to the cleaners with the Simpsons. 

I'll be honest, I never really watched the show till I bought Season 1 on a whim.

And them I bought every season and became an enormous fan. For such a geeky, well written show, it's a shock, I just don't like physically watching the TV. That crank, she is annoying.
