I have a feeling we'll see a modest boost in the first week or two, but will do nothing to improve PSP sales in the long run.

I predict fail.

i'm gunna guess about 170k-200k including psp 3000s sold.

is there not going to be a midnight launch line up? XD ....*sigh.. oh Sony.

I believe SNE initial shipment is rather low to test the waters. The device looks inexpensive to make, so whatever they sell is bound to make some return. Its not an atari ET moment where there are 50 million PSP go sitting out there and they are force to bury them in the Arizona desert.

I knew that interest is low, but even this was far fewer replies than I expected.

Sales may fall off a cliff after the first week if so few are interested. The dead seals say there may not be many sales when it can't even crack the top 50 a few hours before launch.

It depends, half of the people buying it will think it plays UMDs and return it the next day saying "My young son can't figure it out". There was a person who bought DVDs thinking they worked on a PSP once..

i just have to keep calm i usually buy things like this on impulse i even came up with a plan that if i buy the GO i could get all my favourite games digital for only 250euro
