Ok, I going to take this piece by piece and I hope I don't miss anything....... Graphics-To some people there graphics are already outdated, what most of those people fail to realize is that all of the games on the Wii are pretty much ports. Now one game that is not a port is Sonic, the graphics on Sonic are better than anything else on the Wii right now manily because that game is one of the few that built from the ground up for the Wii. In compairason to the 360 and PS3 of course it would look outdated but it's not really. What most people want to say is "This is the Age of HD" when only 17% of Americans have a HDTV but 98% of Americans have TV's so that means that 81% of people still have SDTV's. (And HD graphics don't look as good on SDTV's as they do HDTV's while SD graphics looks better on SDTV's than they do on HDTV's.) Therefore, this is not the age of HD not yet anyway who knows what it will be in a few those numbers could reverse but as of right now they are what they are. Let me sum this up, Can the Wii do what 360/PS3 can graphically? NO! Can the 360/PS3 do what the Wii can do with it's gameplay? NO! Some people perfer gameplay over graphics don't bite there head off of call them Nintendo slaves. Some people like graphics over gameplay don't call them graphic whores it's just personal prefence. Each system did what they though would be a next-gen console did they all get it right or did they all get it wrong who knows, every system brings different things to the table. But remember games never become classic just because they look good. When we hit photo-realism, all you can improve on is gameplay, Nintendo just took the step early, were they wrong..............Not according to sales numbers.

Just as a side note, I do think Nintendo will win the 7th generation, it's already been shown that they will make more profit.

I think that, regardless of whether they sell the most systems or not you could define Nintendo as the Big Winner of the generation. I think most people will agree that by the end of this generation Nintendo will have sold more systems than they have since the SNES days, gained a ton of third party support, developed a lot of new franchises, made a ton of money, and be in a position to end the generation when they decide to. On top of all of that consider the position Nintendo is currently in compared to how people were talking about them 2 years ago; it wasn't that uncommon to hear people speculate that Nintendo should become a third party because there was no way for them to compete against the PS3 or XBox 360.

Yeah i remember that, everyone used to be like Nintendo should just be a third-party, lol the funny is if they became a third party they would make the best games. But according to alot of people Nintendo should be a third party dev. now, even though they profit everytime they come out with a system.

Man, what a ****. One day here and I got one of these guys. The thing you forgot is that those awards and what not, are also opinions. Critics are guys who make opinions for a living. The only real difference is they have a rubric. Also, keep in mind Super Paper Mario can't win an award becuase it's isn't even out yet. But, still laugh all you want but it's my opinion that I beleive those games have better graphics and artistic design. to avoid a flame war, i'll go back on the topic: - even if outdated, doesn't matter. the gameplay will prevail. - wait till wii games look like the best GC games. then wait a bit more til wii games look twice as good. then you should be ok anyways - if they drop the photorealism and go for edgy, stylised graphics, any of it won't matter since you don't need that much horsepower if you don't plan on making every public hair move realistically....

Uh...sure. God of War 2 is easily Game of the Year with only one contender to beat and that would be Halo 3. We're on the cusp of "needing" HD. More and more people I talk to have HDTVs and are less and less likely to see movies in movie theaters simply because they can watch them in HD on TV, which is offered by HBO and SHOWTIME and other people. The next likely step is needing a Hi-def player. And of course Hi-def video games. From a technical perspective the GC controller was such a piece of shite those games were made great by their "graphical impressiveness" What I'm more interested in is is likely shows the PS3 can go just as far as the PS2. PS2 games like God of War now look as good as GC and Xbox games at their height. So I'm very interested how far Sony can take the PS3. Sony builds systems that can be exploited "in the future"
