That's the same place where I got stuck.  Then I decieded I wouldn't spend one more minute there.  

Switch to easy, beat the game and clap.

Tip : Kill all the guys on the floor somehow and run for the staircase on the left from the door you entered before the rocket dudes kill you... then stay on the edge of the staircase and shoot the guys on the opposite balcony. after that kill the rest baby.. KILL... go for that platinum - its worth it !

I started on veteran difficulty too finished it yesterday... 223 deaths during the campaign :)

the helghast are incredibly resilient on veteran difficulty, i've unloaded a clip from the submachine gun to one from point blank range and he just slips and gets back up. >-

Wait until u try it on Elite, that part only took me 3 hours i remember how much i cursed and yelled.

I finished it on hard and elite, it was a challenge but it was easier than I thought. In elite, knife and grenades are you best friend.

PS: an advice tho, don't try to stab a guy who has a shotgun...

I used to think the same thing while playing Halo 2 Legendary...Until I got good at the game...

The rockets are really slow, so when you hear one comin you just run a few metres to the side. I beat it on Elite. But I had to stop playing that last part and come back the next day. I got frustrated from dying too many times, and when you get frustrated it's better to take a break.

SMG is my fav weap at that part. Snipe the rocket launcher guys. And if you think a guy is about to come up the stairs, charge over and kill him first.

normal is already hard enough.I mean the flank you they run away from your grenades they headbutt you with their weapon if you get close.

I love the game but i m not touching the hard difficulty.

It's just a shooter, take cover and go for headshots. There are plenty of games harder than Killzone 2 on Elite. And most of Elite difficulty is pretty easy. It's just that last level that is tough, because they keep charging your position from all directions and the checkpoints are few and far between.

the last boos fight should be a night mare on elite.it was really hard on normal
