I love the demo, and this review definitely makes me more hungry for the full game. Awesome start for Turn 10, i'd love to see the average at 90%.

Reasonable on 30 September 2009

I reckon it'll score well, but as with the first Uncharted reviews, I tend to ignore the official mag ones. I know they do score down games plenty of times, but still, for the big titles you have to always take their views with a pinch of salt.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Now that I have Need for Speed Shift, I will not be getting Forza 3, but I may hold out for Gran Turismo 5.

I meant for their respective consoles. Like the Playstation magazine review for Uncharted 2 or the Nintendo power review for NSMBW, etc.

exactly. Im not going to take anything away from Forza but I'm pretty sure all those times Xbox 360 fans came and trolled the Uncharted 2 PSM reviews are going to come defending this one. Good Job Turn 10 don't let it go to your head

The point of the thread is Forza got a good review.

The point of the post is that I don't think I'm going to buy it.  I figure if it's ok to make a thread about review scores, it's probably ok to make a comment on whether or not you're going to buy the game based on said score, which is the whole reason any of us even read reviews.

The point of me explaining this is that most Forza 3/Gran Turismo 5 threads don't go too far without the other getting mentioned.  So in conclusion, my point is also that I think I'm going to hold off this year now that I have a racing game to play that is also receiving pretty stellar reviews and, I might add, selling well. 

Are we a little touchy about people saying they're not going to buy Xbox 360 exclusives?   Sheesh, don't worry about it.  I dump plenty of money into software for my 360.
