Yes I noticed 60fps with no screen tearing (unlike GT5 which definately has tearing.)

Nah but really. I didn't notice any screen tearing in GT5. Link please because if that's true it sucks. Ah well I don't really care or notice when I'm playing the game but I would like to see it anyway.

Forza 3 looks great and runs very fluidly... only graphical hitch that I did notice was the track magically disappearing at times during replays, particularly when the camera is sweeping very low to the cars and goes below "track level" as the cars ascend and descend the track's many hills and valleys.

Another poster made a (quite humorous) thread about that issue as well...

Turn 10 already knew about it :)

It happens when you use one of the camera angles and the replay camera goes beneath the road. I don't think Turn 10 plan on fixing it because they would need to take away some of the camera angles which would limit replay exporters. The small glitch is worth the pay off.

I doubt it will happen on many race tracks either, only the one's with big elevation changes.

Actually that is something I don't think is worth the pay off. I would rather have simpler replays that the track disappearing. Doesn't seem like it would take ages to fix it.

You have to select the replay angles to make the track disappear. It's not on default settings. There are a lot of angles to pick from, you'll come to know which one's to avoid.

Oh right. Then yea if it is something you have to select yourself to cause it then it wouldn't really matter. Just don't get why you would leave it in the game. But it's not a game breaker if you can completely avoid it.

The game already went gold and maybe  it's not worth it to you. I know MANY users on the forza forums that are into showing of their driving skills and drifts. A better replay system with better pre-made locked camera angles means alot to them.

The see through the floor glitch is only with one camera angle/option I believe on the demo map. You can easily fix it by changing the camera view again. You can also rewind on the replay similar to ingame to go back to the point before the glitch happened and take it from another camera angle avoiding the problem.

The OP of that thread also said the in-car camera was running at 30FPS.  Shows what he knows.

Yeah I corrected him multiple times but he continued to deny it. It's definitley 60fps.

i tried the demo this weekend even though I am not a fan of the series and was greatly impressed. I have Forza 2 and never really cared for it much and didn't plan on purchasing this one. Now its up on the short list.

Prologue had tearing.

It could be IGN cause on Youtube there's none. Or on Youtube it's been 'cleaned' up.

Wow that video had a LOT of screen tearing. Although I didn't see any of that when I watched the live e3 feed. Think it's something to do with the video because why would PD leave that in the trailer for their game?
