Damn, that such a better quote than the xbox one. It makes it sound like Playstation is invincible and capable of destroying everything. Like it's a giant monster with the power to level a city. Or that it has the ability to microwave a hotpoket and not have to let it cool down for minute before consumption.

Then again, it does everything...

Obama is right. Gaming is important, but there are other many things in life to enjoy. I think it´s the first time he mentions playstation when speaking of gaming. Is it because of the recent sucess of the PS3 slim ?

If the PS3 will be the standard Console in the US i will recognize it pretty soon its not happening yet. The President refering to it is just the first step. The second step is if the Sitcoms Series and Movies will not use the Xbox anymore THEN we know in Europe that the Xbox lead is over. The standard Console in Sitcoms and Series is since the Nintendo in Bill Cosby the best Indicator which shows us the lead in America.

I cant remember seeing an PS3 in a US Sitcom the last Sony Console was the PS2 and before that it was the PS1 before that it was the SNES.

Of course you see SOMETIMES other Consoles for example you see on the Pad its a Gamecube and not a PS2 but they name it most of the time Playstation. Ok I saw in some Series in the Last Gen GamCubes aswell maybe because Nintendo is a known name.

He didn't domoralize gaming at all, the haters like to nitpick what anyone says anything regarding video games. While it's true that games don't generally lead to all the world's problems, they CAN be factored in when talking about parents allowing a game/tv primarily to raise their kids.
