Looks like PS3 will beat the Wii for total yearly sales.

The hardware trackers once again disagree. VGchartz and Famitsu have PS3 lower while the other two have it a good deal higher. Think I'll side with VGchartz this time.

With the recent FF first day sales I think Zorro is closer and closer to winning this bet, Mario needs to be some kind of grand savior to really turn things around.

i hope the wii gets there first. i want sony destroyed in all regions. i don't like them as a company. i only buy their consoles cause i have no other choice if i want to experience all the games that interest me.

Holding off doing an update as last week's PS3 numbers have disappeared from the site!  Thought this might be an indication of an adjustment being made, but now I'm not sure because why not leave it on the site until the recalculation's been done?  Should I just do the update using the PS3 number that had been up before?

Weird numbers again this week.  VGC agrees with famitsu, but the other two trackers have significantly higher numbers for both PS3 and Wii.

I'd wait until the numbers show up again, there is no rush as neither of them are close to their goal. So if ioi is doing some kind of correction or if it's just a glitch you might as well wait.

The closer the better, it's not much fun otherwise. Isn't the new DBZ game doing worse than the last one though?

Notes:

1) VGC numbers are close to famitsu this week, but MC and dengeki have both Wii and PS3 a fair bit higher.

2) As of this week, PS3 has doubled its initial head start of about 60,000 units.

Yeah, SW3 will sell a decent amount and move some consoles. These two weeks can pretty much tie Wii with the PS3 for this race. It may be a bit tough to beat it by 120k+ but it's possible. They'll be around even ground by the time FFXIII drops.
