Gaming is a lyfestyle more or less, especially for me. I tend to pay attention to every aspect of it. For example, I have a Wii, but im not a BIG casual gamer. I have Lips, but im not even close to being considere a good singer. I have Buzz Quiz TV and both Scene its, and i enjoy them cause im a fan of music and movies so i love chalenging my brain on those games. the reason i like owning these types of games is because they give my friends or family members a bigger choice of what game to play when they come over and i love the experience i have when friends and family game with me.
Natal is no different. Im excited about it and all and i am ready to purchase it. I just have to point out my opinion on the device and how i think it'll change gaming. first of all, we all see the potential behind it. and if it is what its supposed to be then it will raise the bar on gaming and we will enjoy the experience fully like weve only imagined possible. i dont know bout yall but ive always wanted to use my ful body to play fighting games and things like that. but if it fails to deliver the experience it says it wil, then the technology will inspire more companies to do better. for example, i was at the mall years ago and i tried this boxing game where they would give me gloves to put on to fight. it was fun but wasnt as accurate as it should have been. now, we have the wii motes which are far more accurate than the gloves. and just imagine how much more accurate the sony wands will be when released. another example, remember those wireless remotes for ps2 where you needed to connect a sensor to the ps2 to make them work? If you go to far then forget it. well now look at the dualshock 3s or the xbox 360 remotes. i can go take a dump in my bathroom and still have my remote working (lol i know that wasnt necessary btw).
so what im saying is that if project natal doesnt deliver the experience as told by Kudo and microsoft, then some time down the line someone else will. this is the start of a hands free revolution. microsoft has at least given us a blueprint. Thanks for reading and please give me your opinion.
