But what of your other 6 supposed failed consoles?  They were all sent in for repair or sold via Ebay or Craigslist, correct?  Then they are all currently in use as well and therefore (for the millionth time) the numbers are still correct.  Unless you literally throw every broken 360 in a corner and use them as furniture, that is....

Don't stress out on Ihill8181 too much, he has 36 posts and 36 of them are about his 7-9 RROD's. He might be slightly bitter.

OT: I agree with your take, the consoles are out there, Gamestop moves a lot of those refurbs. They sell them for $150 after all.

i think the software is a little inflated also for the 360, have you seen the rings the 360 wi;ll put on the disc, and that's not repairable for the most part, and it does happen a lot. im not saying its inflated by much but still just putting it out there.

I think your inflating the problem.

This thread is useless.

Partly because if someone owns 7 360's in their house, those are still 7 360's being sold.

What I dont get is how this is supposed to be a "legitimate" argument for "overinflated" sales figures but if anyone mentions the PS2 and its "record" and brings up rebuy's they get vilified by fanboys. I know far more people on their 2-3rd PS2 (Im on my 4th) than I know people on their second 360 and the ones I do know with replacement 360's did so under warranty with the exception of one who modded his so he was stuck. Why does one count but the other doesnt?
