It's for children and family gaming, I'm not sure I understand what the problem is unless it's a failure to recognize that there are broad demographics for any given platform including the PS3, just like the PS2 and the PS1 before it.
If you aren't in either category, it's probably not for your demographic.
Nobody has a corner on the family gaming market anymore than Disney has a corner on the entire family movie genre, so I'm not sure I see why anyone would take fake "offense" over SCE releasing such a product that will hold appeal for children in households with the PS3.
