Heres my personal list

1. More active combat since ARM's have always been the main focus of the game I think a more resonance of fate type battle system could really help it make it to the mainstream.

2. Return to the more western feel of the first 3 games. Dont get me wrong I loved 4 and 5, but it didn't have the same feel as the first 3.

3. Shoot out mini games...
