im planning on getting a ps3. what games do you recommend? this is a very rough list i made some time ago. there are probably a fewredundancies in it. i like just about all games from all genres. do not recommend games that are also on pc. also if you see something on my list feel free to "unrecommend" it.

I would say get Uncharted 2, MGS4, God of War 3, and Infamous.

Get

MGS 4, Uncharted, Infamous, LBP, both Ratchet and Clank.

Also Resistance 2, mirror´s edge, virtua tennis 2009, GTA 4, Burnout Paradise, Tomb raider underworld, Prince of Persia, Bioshock, Assassin´s creed, Devil may cry 4.

Get only at a low price

the darkness, heavenly sword, Motorstorm, Resistance.

Don´t get

ninja gaiden sigma

Upcoming games

GOW3, FF 13, Uncharted 2, GOW collection.

Out of your list I reccomend these:

Remember, this is my opinion, so take it in moderation or with a pinch of salt :D

If you are rich then get them all but if not I recommend MGS4, KZ2, and MLB the Show 09. For up coming games I say GOW HD remakes, GOW3, and Uncharted 2 but you may want to try the 1st Uncharted 1st.

dynasty warriors 6 and mirrors edge i will not buy for the ps3 as they are on pc.

a few others said i shouldnt bother with afro samurai and untold legends. as for the god of war remakes. if they put in plenty of new content(which they probably will) ill get them.

Killzone 2, Resistance 1 & 2, LBP, MGS4, Uncharted 1 & 2, inFAMOUS, God of War (entire collection). Ratchet and Clank, MAG and.. a few multiplats, like FF13, RE5, CoD4

Cross Edge and Enchanted Arms are horrible games that should be avoided at any cost. KoF XII is great offline but has bad online netcode. You may like Blazblue but the game plays differently from KoF XII and a sequel should be released sometime next summer. 

Buy Disgaea 3

Cross Edge and KOF XII were poorly received by both my friends and the mag I subscribed, you may want to be more cautious before buying these.

Flower is a must have from PSN, Killzone 2 is also pretty good, but may requires dedication, because some people (especially those who are used to COD) find the control to be messy in the beginning.
