Well I guess the ones I like are not really turn base.
WKC and FFXIII are on there way! Be patient.

Those are not Turn-Based RPGs! >.< lol

I think they're both Action RPG.

Wait, Final Fantasy XIII isn't turn-based?!

It's shocking right!?

Are you sure? I always thought it's Turn-Based but in a different way.
I would be extremely disappointed if it wasn't.

Final Fantasy XIII uses an updated ATB Turn Based system. That means it IS turn based. If FFXIII isn't turn based, neither is a third of the other Final Fantasy's.

No believe me It's Turn Based to the fullest. Just in a new way. You input your commands and it plays on the screen. It uses the ATB and you can't move at all. All you can navigate is the menu. You even go to a battle field. That shit is turned based

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Well it's kind of both (Action and Turn-Based). But the thing is that from what I've seen you can't take all the time you want to choose your next move like FFX or DQ8. So it's kind of action.

You couldn't take all the time you wanted in FFVI either, that is unless you wanted to get attacked. That doesn't mean it isn't turn based. You are still taking turns, which imo is the main point of a game being turn based. Whether it has action or not has very little to do with it.

Yeah I understand what you mean and it's true that it can be qualified as Turn-Based but not a classic Turn-Based like I'm looking for.

Sorry I just got to say that this is classic Turn base it all started with FFIV and stopped at X.

Thank GAWD. I was scared for a moment.

But the first Final Fantasy was what I call a classic Turn-Based RPG. And the Dragon Quest series too.

I'm going off topic here, but something a lot of people don't realize is that Final Fantasy XII is actually turn-based. The only difference between Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy VII is the ability of free movement. The battle system itself is completely turn-based though.

Final Fantasy XIII looks to be completely turn-based as well.

Back on topic, if you have a DS and don't mind first person view, I would pick up Etrian Odyssey and The Dark Spire.
