Hi,

I have been thinking about getting a PS3 for awhile now. In order to explain better so you could help me, I could have bought a PS3 for quite awhile now, I am just waiting for a reason to get it. I don't need to get it if it is not going to be used.

Think of it this way, I played gears of war once, for 20 minutes, and I felt it sucked compared to counter strike. unfortunetly FPS bore me on consoles. The controls are really inferior to the PC. I haven't tried metroid prime 3 yet since it is not released in europe yet.

What I really was looking forward to for the PS3 was Lair. I really like dragons and was hoping that this game would justify a PS3 purchase for me. I was wondering if the reviews are really true. Is the game really bad? Also does anyone know if rumble controllers also have motion sensing? BC is not important for me personally. If the game is not that good, I don't want to buy a PS3 yet because there might be further price cuts or better deals and models to come. 

Can anyone help me?

And just to expand, you're going to get one of three answers:

1. The same verdict the reviewers gave that is pretty much right
2. Biased PS3 fanboys that just want someone to buy a PS3 and like the games they like
3. Biased MS/Nintendo fanboys who just want to rain on Sony's parade. 

Is the game as bad as many have made it out to be? No. Is it a great game? Also no. As much as I actually enjoyed Lair, I wouldn't base a PS3 purchase on that game. Uncharted or Ratchet and Clank, on the other hand...

The rumble controllers will still have motion sensing.
