Alright in early august my 360 Elite got the RROD. I spent the whole month trying to get it sent into Microsoft but problem after problem occured. Finally I printed out the shipping label and mailed my 360 in. I was really suprised it only took about 2 weeks for my new refirbished X-Box to arrive in the mail.
I was really exited because it arrived only days before Halo:ODST launched. So I turned it on and started playing some ODST. When it happened four times in two days my 360 has frozen. I'm worried because in the mail I read that I am under my last X-Box's warranty meaning I am only covered for RROD. However my uncle said you get a 3 month warranty on your refirbished X-Box.
So what should I do? the console isn't red ringing its just freezing every few hours. Do you think I can send it back to Microsoft or does it have to Red Ring for them to fix it?
All in all I'm pretty upset, the console they send me freezes up within hours of turning the thing on. I barely got any use out of it and I want my 360 to work so I can play me some COD:MW2. How can Microsoft send out defective hardware as a replacement?
