I said any month. so if you break it down I still would take march over any other month that sony has on the table from now till december. I sure the majority of people who are waiting for GT5 also aren't worrying about how they are going to squeeze in that time for Wii fit plus.

Talk about the negativity of some people. GT finally gets a release date and people are disappointed. Sure its not coming this year but atleast we know when its coming now. There is already 1 GT game coming this year (GTPSP) and a nice line up for the holidays (U2, R&C, MW2, AC2 etc).

I guess this is what happens when people get their hopes up. Remember GT5 wasn't confirmed this year, only speculated this year. It was confirmed Q4 2009 which March 2010 fits into the Q4 09 financial calendar.

That doesnt make any sense at all. God Of War, BFBC 2 are the only games for March of 2010 right now. Assuming your einterested in those games are you not interested in NGS2, or CoDMW2.

So youre honestly telling me youre taking BFBC and God of War as a months worth of releases over everything released in october, november or december?

Also, Wii Fit sales matter because there is only so much money that can be spent on videogames. Wii Fit plus is a videogame and thus people that buy that take money away form other games and genres in similar markets regardless. Parents buy games, family and people buying games for a home and not just themselves.

I think they would never put out GT PSP at the same time as GT5, since the latter would totally overshadow the PSP version.

My point is they should have focused more on GT5 and have it ready for the holiday season, and then launch GT PSP next year... in fact I think GT5 is long overdue, the PS3 has gone too long without a big system seller, and GT5 is probably the biggest it can get for this console.

I'm all for releasing a complete product. I guess your right I hyped myself up. In my eyes its a failure because after the god of war re-release there is nothing else I'm interested in this year. GT5 would have set it over the top. now I am thinking of picking up gtpsp but after watching some vids... that doesn't look like a smart move. hopefully demon souls and uncharted 2 can keep me occupied. Oh and perhaps Afrika.

Ok well BFBC2 wasn't even on my radar. but let me explain. yes I would rather have a new god of war and a GT game than any of those games you talked about. I don't play cod so why would I want MW2. So yea october has 3 games im really interested in thats demon souls uncharted 2 and eventually I always pick up nba 2k. Wii fit would mean nothing to me I don't know why you keep bringing it up I'm really not commenting on the sales or anything I'm talking about my personal preference.

Sad, Sony could have made this holiday their best ever. Well it dosen´t hurt me anyway as i didn´t intend to buy the game at all.

If I was Sony I wouldn't want this and FFXIII releasing close to each other in Japan, so I feel that's the main decision here. FFXIII this year and Slim should ensure lots of sales in Japan and GT5 will give further big boost early next year.

Of course, in West FFXIII is not exclusive, so the loss of GT5 is a bit of an issue, but I guess they feel they have a broad enough set of other titles to see them through. With the lower price if I was them I'd think about some form of family/kiddie bundle - maybe a slim with both R&C titles or something of the like.
