Forums - Sony - digital download games may actually be cheaper

I can see it hurting developers more than consumers, you think that Piracy is bad now, a download, which with undoubtedly have security, will make it easier for them pirates out there.

Also, with media going digital, retail, rental, and resell businesses will be hurt, especially since it is/will be more and more common to download games and movies in the next few years.

But what are you gonna do, Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo are the ultimate decision makers, at least on the game front, and whatever they decide to do we are forced to live with.

not really, gamestop barely gives 20$ back on a NEW game.

Who says gamestop?  Go on Ebay, or Amazon, you end up walking away with more than $10, which means any savings from DD is lost

Also most games are not keepers, most games are ones that people will resell

PSPgo is indeed not for everyone. This is why the psp3000 is still out.

People should be renting before buying anyway, there's no need to buy a game and then sell it, when you can rent one on gamefly and just keep it if you like it.

My whole point is that a lot of people were talking about the greediness of the industry, when they are alreayd selling it at acheaper price. I think it's very reasonable.

Can you rent on PSP GO?
