source is sony's tgs conference, where gt:psp will be 4400 yen for the download and 5500 for the umd.
Well, I guess this shuts down a lot of arguments.

yes, people were saying that DD will hurt the consumers, and other such nonsense.
Right off the bat you will get a dd game for 10$ less than retail, which will oobviously scale with time.

i also talked in one of my threads about game pricing. I was mentioning that if dd takes off we could see a reduction in price or we could even maintain a 60$ price point on games for the next ten years.

$10 less, but no ability to resell, so in the end its actually more expensive

Exactly. If youre buying a game with th eidea of selling it quick enough to get a decent deal you should be renting in the first place.
But a new PS3 game for 60 bucks, walk out the door open th epackage come back in trade it for 25 bucks.
If you buy a game and play it for 4 months youll probably get 16 bucks, if that and even then youre still paying 55 for it used.
I think people bitching about reselling games shouldnt even be buying them in the first place because if you buy a game it should be to turn it around sooner than even 6 months.
They should be cheaper, but in the West they probably won't be. Retailers will strong arm companies into making DD solutions just as expensive as retail. Just look at Steam, Games on Demand, simultaneous PSN/retail releases, etc.
yeah man, just get a friggin gamefly account and stick with a regular psp.
pspgo is there for the people that want it. Don't like it? leave it.

Who says gamestop? Go on Ebay, or Amazon, you end up walking away with more than $10, which means any savings from DD is lost
Also most games are not keepers, most games are ones that people will resell
