Huge cliffhanger................... i'm not going to spoil it for anybody so lets just say that there are many questions left unanswered in the story of shenmue

Me meeting Halle Berry on the VGC boards and her becoming Halle Berry-Tigris is a possibility too. And, crazily, is probably more likely to happen.

Crazy? Lots of people wanted Shenmue 1 when it came out and it sold well, but not at all in comparison to that scary budget the game had! In this case, art should really trump business -- who cares about sales? The thousands of investors? The families of those Sega employees involved? Fudge em... Sega's gotta' stop thinking about these trivial things!

I would totally pay for a re-release of Shenmue 1 and 2 on either PSN or XBox Live Arcade. I would seriously pay up to $60 just to replay Shenmue 1 and 2 complete with trophy/achievement goodness so my pals can all see just how awesome I am!

If they start development on Shenmue lll, I'll go berserk with excitement.

The problem is that Shenmue 1 and 2 have aged pretty badly. They'd have to upgrade the graphics and controls, too. They were awesome when they released on the Dreamcast/Xbox, though.

Personally, I want it to happen just so there'd be a game that had Part 1 on a Sega console, Part 2 on a Microsoft console (in the US) and Part 3 on a Sony console!!

Well if Shenmue 3 comes to the PS3. I will definitely be purchasing a PS3.

they might consider it if they saw some good yakuza 3 sales

at this rate they might just re-release the old ones on PSN/XBL and then go on and release the third in japan only.

if Yakuza 3 did good in the US they will bring it here. i know exactly why everyone love this game, i myself bought a console just to play it, but sometimes you have to face reality, if they release Shenmue 3 i don't think much people are going to get it.

yes imagine Assassins Creed 1 kind of ending, or Halo 2 kind of ending.

the sucky endings that are like "okay, the end you should buy the sequel to know what the fuck is happening"

I'd love to play again Shenmue 1 & 2, they are great games. The idea to have a Shenmue 3 on the works gets me excited.
