I'm glad to hear the game is as advertised. I'm going to have to pick up a copy today after work.

I think his statement is somewhat acurate, but needs to be elaborated on.

There is no FPS game that has this many enemies and freindly units battling in such a huge area, all with their individual AI and actions. At times there will be 7-8 freindlies fighting off ~40 bad guys in an area the size of grand canyon.

Does Firefight mode operate the exact same as Horde mode from GoW? I noticed during some of the trailers that each kill = points. Do you get more points for the weapons you use, etc etc?

Also, it looks to me from screenshots that the HUD changed a bit. Is this for better or worse?

Think there will be any copies available anywhere if I didn't pre-order the game? Heh

Hud is different. ITs not better or worse...just different. You have no radar anymore and your health is on top, but you do have a kick ass new infra red vision. Good thing you do becuase the game is very dark sometimes.

Firefight has some basic elements of Horde, but it has a Halo flavour to it. You need to give it a try to understand. Its much better than horde in my opinion...

Yeah they should. EB games and Gamespot make a big deal about preorders cause they like to order a set amountetc...but if you go to like a best buy, you should be able to find it.
