Looks like Bungie has hired Rob Adams, long time Naughty Dog veteran and Senior Environment designer for Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. He is currently the Senior Environment designer for Halo: Reach. I don't know about you guys but I'm excited to see this guy work his magic and create some epic vistas for Bungie's new baby. Halo: Reach best game of 2010 confirmed?

He left Naughty Dog in October 2007. Then he says "I wanted to keep my contact with Bungie very discreet because I’d only been at my current job for eight months." He's been at Bungie since August 2008.

Since he left ND a while ago, this means there would be no impact to Uncharted 2.

I wonder where he was from November 2007 to July 2008? Must not have been very happy there since he left so quick?

@ Jagged: I think the hype Reach will have will definitely be on par with, if not exceeding, Halo 3.

He's just a senior environmental artist...he alone isn't going to make that big of a difference....

And I'm not saying anything negative about him or Bungie, Bungie makes great environments and I'm sure that guy is great, it's just one guy who isn't even a lead isn't going to drastically change things. People change studios all the time for many reasons.

I thought the heading senior implied that he would be mostly in charge of the environments in the game?
