A lot of people who were supposed to get it delivered today just got it shipped... today.
So theres quite a few people who won't get their game today but by the end of the week (thus I still believe 2+ million is easily doable) like me.

I think its going to go up significantly over the weekend. I for one pre-ordered my copy and have it waiting for me but I'm just way too busy to pick the game up and play until Friday and I have a bunch of friends in the same situation. I'm guessing by saturday or sunday the number should be around 1.5 million.

Updated OP. Doesn't look like 1 mil is in the cards. Should make it to 850,000 though. Maybe 1 million will be after midnight on the west coast though.

The game performed better than i thought to be honest. It seems its being taken as more like a main halo than i assumed, although less, but still more than a "spin off" as halo wars. Which is natural i guess since its the same genre as the main franchise.

Its very cool to have community features like this from bungie. I went to Infinity Wards site and they have 1 video per game that theyve made and BUY NOW button. Umm ok there...

BTW, what do you guys think is the percentage of gamers who bought the game and don't go online with it hence they arent registered with XBL? I think for a game like halo...10%-15% maybe?
