Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft Confirms Xbox360 ( 802.11N ) Adapter

I will purchase this. Hopefully it works well. I'll wait to hear the reviews / if there is a difference at all to begin with.

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

Price?

(My bro just got the regular wireless adapter from gamestop for $30[!] since he knows people who work there).

Still though, I think he'd like this for increased range/speed.

Essentially its like this. Wireless G as seen in the PS3 is now considered useless for gaming, only N wireless is good and it doesn't matter whether you're going with an Xbox 360 or PS3 you'll still have to pay extra for it.

Tease.

Release this at the price of the current adapter, then cut the price on that in half. They'll still make a lot of profit on each, but it won't be as exorbitant as it currently is

Half the reason the current one is expensive is that it uses A and while it's alot better than G no one really sells A routers... now N is f'n awesome and I'll probably pick it up

That is most likely their plan.  Although, maybe not half the price.

Essentially it's like this. The wireless G add-on as currently available for the x360 is now considered useless for gaming, only N wireless is good and it doesn't......................

Wouldn't that have better than to bring the PS3 into the debate....some people just can't help themselves.
