Wait, there are still arcades in America?

I live 10 minutes away from Arcade Infinity. You just have to live in SoCal or NY.

I know we use to have a Game Works in the Dallas area and I think it might still be there but as of a few years ago it was more than shitty.

Other than that we have Dave and Busters which is even shittier. The only reason to go there is they have alcohol.

Oh, and there are bowling alley's I guess, but those are dirty.  I had just thought it was a pretty widely accepted fact that arcades are pretty much dead in North America.

In Texas, there should still at least be Arcade UFO.

I think Texas may have a few other updated/active arcade scenes, but I really don't remember any others. Arcades are mostly dead but a few states have a hanful of arcade scenes that still manage to hang on.

Texas is a big place and Austin is far away from Dallas (4-5 hours I think if I speed a lot).

I realize there are dedicated arcades that still exist but arcades are still for the most part dead in the US.

If you speed like most people in California do, I'm sure you could cut that time down to 3 hours.

You've never been to the Dallas area have you?  There's one highway in particular where if you just drive the speed limit you'll be run over by everyone from grannies to cops.  Not only are we bad drivers but we're bad drivers who drive really fast.
