Forums - Gaming - Top 10 most replayable games.

I'm new here, so this may have been done before.  I'm curious to see other opinions of the top 10 best games as judged by amount of time spent in a game.  In an attempt to make it fair for short games...I'd like to see lists made by number of times playing (or planning to play) through a game instead of amount of time.  However, feel free to ignore that and just make a list of games that you like and reasons for that if you feel like it.

Here's my list (in order)

1.  Starcraft - PC

2.  Tetris - Everything ever

3.  Silent Hill 2 - PS2(and Xbox, I think)

4.  Resident Evil 4 (GC/Wii)

5.  Madden 20xx (PS2/Xbox/360)

6.  Final Fantasy VI - SNES/GBA

7.  Metal Gear Solid 3 - PS2

8.  Catan - 360 Live Arcade

9.  Ms. Pacman - Everything ever

10.  Bioshock - 360 (I just love this game)

Systems I currently own (in order of preference): PS2, SNES, Gamecube, Xbox 360, Genesis, Nintendo DS, PSX, XBOX, Wii, PS3,  Atari 5200, Turbo-Grafx 16, NES, Gameboy, Game Gear, 32X.

7 Final Fantasy 6 (I played this game over 100 hours the 2nd time I beat it, maxing out points on several characters)
I could imagine other people would list games like
Halo 3, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Starcraft, newest Madden or NBA Live, and World of Warcraft

currently playing: Desktop Tower Defense (PC), Puzzle Quest (DS), Trauma Center New Blood (Wii), Guitar Hero III (Wii), Ghost Squad (Wii), Actraiser (SNES), Donkey Kong County (SNES), The Legend of Zelda (NES), Kirby's Adventure (NES)

I've never played a metroid game after I beat it the first time.  The endings aren't that different.  Also, I despise speed-runs (especially the speed-run in FFIX to get that stupid sword) as I lose enjoyment playing a game for speed.  That's why I didn't add them in...

Ran out of space, I hate such lists, I have to leave out too many games. Now the list looks like I only play a few game series...

Heh.  It also makes you look like a Nintendo-homer...not that there's anything wrong with that.

I agree that you are forced to leave out games in these lists, but i think the constraints also force you to really consider your choices and probably make a more accurate list.
