I am glad you laughed at it. But the reason I didn't go with it to begin with, is the same reason I didn't post the Bush thing about OBGYN's.

I read it as something someone says that they mean. Not just something that's funny because a teleprompter goes down, or because someone reads a line in a speak wrong (or is just trying to be funny). The first comment from Obama that I posted was the intended information. He really thinks you can have a jobless recovery, and only create jobs at the end of it.

And I also didn't know it was supposed to be funny. I could have posted things many religious people have said about homosexuals that could qualify as "the stupidest thing I ever heard", and I don't think many people would laugh at it.

Well it's just ... if you're gonna go with stuff like that in a thread like this, it's (IMO) gotta be inarguable to any person with any appearance of sanity. Which that evidently isn't.

XD again same person

she applied to a dog grooming job and for "prior work experience" she listed that she never once had a nintendog bark at her.

a neighbor of ours died and we both attended the funeral. when we went up to the casket she whispered to me "wow she died with a whole bunch of makeup for an old lady"

She was asked around what time jesus was alive. Her reply: wasn't it like 1776 or something? no wait that's an important date but not the right one is it?

How is it that nearly every off-topic thread turns into a political debate?

What if I make a giant umbrella thread that said "Politics" and you can put all your meaningless, off-topic, political debates THERE?
