Actually PS3 failure overall is higher than 1%

It says 10% on that news article.

That same article has the 360 at 54 percent failure rate, and the wii at 8

"During the first two years of ownership, 2.7 percent of Wii owners reported a system failure to SquareTrade, compared with 10 percent of PlayStation 3 owners and 23.7 percent of Xbox 360 owners.""Excluding RROD failures, which are covered by Microsoft’s three-year warranty, 11.7 percent of Xbox 360 owners reported a failure."

Around the Network

So they make a big deal out of 155 people calling in before the show was aired. Then they make a even bigger deal out of it saying that 265 people have had problems (out of 2.5m). And then use SONYs number of less than 0.5% (that SONY gave Watchdog) and "spin" it to 12.500 people.

Watchdog really needs to drop this, they're bleeding!

They reportedly have lost 700.000 viewers, and needs "a story". So fabrication is the way they chose to go.
