Forums - Microsoft - Ferrari Cars Not Really Exclusive to Forza 3.

Since when did anyone actually think they were?

So, it will still be a great game.

You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

(Speaking of N4G)

Microsofts PR is often very ambiguous, at E3 they made the next Metal Gear sound like a 360 exclusive and it wasn't.

Like sony saying FF 14 would be exclusive and it wont

Damn I hate fanboys.

What the hell are they thinking? MS never said something like this, they were just too stupid to read the statement. It said Forza 3 is exclusive and it includes Ferraris. Everybody with an IQ of bread understood.

Now they blame Microsoft for their own stupidity.

... As if no one at Microsoft has an inkling of how ambiguity may give them additional exposure? They could've given a straightforward title, which would've eradicated all this confusion from the get-go.

It's very strong and smart marketing to use these words in this specific order. It may be grammatically and semantically correct, but as if they did not know it would / could be interpreted otherwise?

Again: very smart marketing move, although I do feel such ambiguity should be forbidden in statements towards the general public, as it can mislead.

No, they said that Metal Gear was making its way to the Xbox 360. I don't remember anything about it being exclusive.

I'm guessing its just poor wording around Forza 3 being exclusive to 360.

Seems very unlikely Ferrari would enter into a deal limiting their cars to one title. I see no real gain for Ferrari (even allowing for a large sum on money) and I would imagine they would prefer their cars to be in many titles re-enforcing their brand image.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Actually, I think they did say exclusive when talking about Metal Gear.
