Forums - Gaming - Dirt 2 or NFS Shift?

You should give Shift another chance. When you're driving a Pagani Zonda R down the Nurburgring straight.... you'll never want to play another racer again. But only in that moment.

But yeah, the cockpit view is incredible. And terrifying O_o

Ill play it more as it isnt due back for another week and a half...but I really am not impressed. I play using the cockpit view, with a MS steerign wheel and it just doesnt feel right. I remember both Forza 2 and PGR4 would have me spin out as soon as I drive like a jerk... This game doesnt do that. And even if I really try to spind out, and crash in to a wall...I can still easily win the race. Im playing on experienced difficulty...

Is there atleast more cars? There appers to be only like 40-50 cars...10-15 per tier

I bought a Chevy Cobalt SS as the first car and Im smoking Nissan 350Z's in a straight line...there is something wrong with that.

I tried the Dirt 2 demo. It was ok.
I raced a whole 2 laps with the demo truck and used the brake to corner like twice.

I never did off road races IRL but I don't think the brake is optional.

Not saying it's bad. It's a good arcade rally racer but focus too much on the trucks and buggies.
