Konami today announced the release date of the much anticipated downloadable game Zombie Apocalypse through the PSN and XBOX Live. Coming to Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft on September 23 and the PlayStation®Network on September 24, Zombie Apocalypse drops players in an epic battle between the dead and the living!

Equipped with ample artillery, players’ dual analog stick shooting skills will be put to the test in the thrilling arcade style shooter. As gamers set forth on their mission to conquer zombies, they can choose from up to 11 diverse weapons including assault rifles, flamethrowers and teddy bears filled with C4 explosives. A chainsaw is also available to players who want an up close and personal encounter with the roaming dead. Savvy players can also take advantage of their surroundings as they utilize environmental hazards to destroy massive hordes of zombies.

[UPDATE] The game will cost 800 Microsoft Points for the XBOX 360 and $9.99 for the PlayStation 3.

Looks a little repetetive.. might be fun for a while. But there really need to be a good challenge for this to be worth 10 bucks.

Is this the game from the guys that did Super Stardust HD?

Watched the second video aswell. It looks like they've done L4D2 arcade, because this game also have that pipebomb, melee attacks, auto shotty etc. If the trophies are any good, it might consider it.

no thats zombie nations a PSN exclusive it looks to be little bit better title though since there both almost the same game

Oh yeah.. Wasnt there a Dead Nations announcement at PAX? Or is that the same game as Zombie Nations? Too many zombie games out there, hard to keep track :D

zombie apocalypse is made by Konami

yeah but these 2 titles look more realistic unlike the others like burn zombie burn b/c they use more realist graphics instead of cartoony ones

so i like these 2 more since i have no L4D on my ps3
