Good Question nen_suer. I actually discussed that with my mafia friends last game and I think the mafia can agree on killing one of their own but why?... What say you gnizmo or zexen?

The descriptions need some work. Arsonist and Poisoner are both variations of the Serial Killer role. They are also a form of a third faction in the game. The firefighter and psychiatrist are their specific foils, although a psychiatrist is not always used or needed.

Lie detector does not check only role claims either believe. It is for any post to see whether or not the person is telling the truth. For example, my post last game of "I am not mafia, and I am certain insomniac is the sane cop," would have come back as true since I was the serial killer, and knew insomniac's investigation showing me as not mafia was accurate.

I also dunno if the reporter stuff is accurate, but I am unfamiliar with the role.

Mafia can kill their own, but its pointless except to end infighting. The role is revealed and no one is thrown off the scent, as it were. Poisoner can poison himself based on the judgement call by zexen that I agree with. Poisoner.Arsonist/Serial Killer will naturally kill mafia as they are pitted against each other.

Mafia hits have to be anonymous unanimous, I believe, so getting a hit on a Mafioso would be pretty difficult.

I recommend that when the deadline that the mod passes nobody is allowed to post about the game like if it was night, that way nothing really changes and you don't need another person to do it.
