Well, I'm with you. The best of FF is the ever-changing gameplay systems. It's not like the great majority of games where once you start playing any of the sequels you find yourself in common ground and everything gets old rather quickly.

I agree. Kepping the same system eventually makes the series get stale. However, change can cost the series fans who don't like the new system. It may also bring in new fans so no problem there.

I think it's really a vocal yet small group of people that really have a problem with the changes since FFXIII is getting a lot of hype despite FFXII being "hated". It could just be the brand name thing but that's my theory.
