If 2.5 million is now being considered bombing, then I hope the second one bombs like he first one as well

It "sold" that amount through aggressive bundling, just like viva pinata
|
So how much did the bundling increase the total by then?
|
Well it didnt even make the top 10 in the november 2007 NPD's (it released on nov 17) Meaning it sold less than 370,000 units in its first month. Considering the front loaded nature of HD title sales this generation, I'd say bundling accounts for the vast majority of its ostensive sales.

Well it wasnt even bundled until November of last year when it already had 1.75 million sales, and it was only bundled with the 160GB PS3. So that would leave only a possibility of 750K to be made up by bundles. And I highly doubt that all 750K were sold only by bundling, but even if it were 750k is far from the vast majority that you are claiming. One also has to consider that this was one of the first games to get trophies, and when it did get trophies it saw a huge spike in sales. So stop considering the nature of the generation and start looking up the number before talking out your ass.

It was bundled in some European territories as early as 2007, which funnily enough is where the majority of Uncharted's sales are supposed to come from (funny how it sells the most in the one country we dont get definitive sales numbers for)

Ok dude, say it sold quite a bit through bundling.
What we are going to do is wait and see how Uncharted 2 does and then *bump this thread* in a few months and announce here whether Uncharted 2 did no better than Uncharted, whether it bombed, etc. Sound good, wanna take the challenge? Please do. And if you are right, YOU bump the thread.
