While YES there is always the chance since Epic Game's owns the rights to Gears of War and not Microsoft. Epic Games most likely won't due to the 360 being an easier platform for their PC developers.

Ah, good point. Lets lock this just to keep false rumors from spreading and fanboy wars from erupting then.
Even if it did. It would just be fanboy fodder. No one will buy a PS3 over the 360 to play the third gears and skip the first two. So its irrelavent as far as console sales go imo.
Good for pressers, doesnt matter in the real world, imo.
