I agree with the article. For the most part. I guess I'm a fanboy. :/

MS doesn't care if you don't pay, SONY doesn't care either because nobody pays. So MS is the winner because the ones who pay use LIVE.
Even if you want to "help" SONY out and pay you can't because their service is free.
From a corporate point of view MS is the one making all the bucks.

i make a bit more than 100k a year.
that doesnt make me think things arent overpriced.
that is the lamest justification ever.

Fixed.
The "Microsoft Points" should be enough reason all by itself to avoid Live and letting M$ suck your wallet dry. But that's why many enterprises are successful I guess, their customers are suckers.

Just to clarify, something can be affordable and overpriced at the same time.
A $20 hamburger is a good example. Just because you can afford it doesn't mean that it's not overpriced.

Win. Online should be free, you already pay your ISP.

Now, I play xbox live alot and enjoyed it for the past six years and loved the content it's been givin' out. And I do enjoy reading articles from guys like these who just write about Microsoft's inhumane corporate skanks. That's fine.
However, if you truly believe Microsoft's Xbox Live is a fraud, then why not go get a lawyer...AND SUE THE BASTARDS!!!!111!!!* Seriously... I mean, Jesus Christ, you people complain so much that Microsoft is ripping you off, yet Xbox Live is getting even more popular without even knowing it. You just only sit on your chair with your computer and whine and complain; I'm clearly not. I mean, how come this seem to be big deal. And I hate this arguement, "The PSN is free afterall, isn't it." So what?! What gain will Sony get for a free online service?
"I wanted to lay out my case that Microsoft is clearly over charging for Live and that some of the downloadable content is nothing more then a money grab."
Well, it looks like you already did. Now, send an invitation to Microsoft for a court meeting. I would really love to see any justification from both sides.
Come on: you have the evidence, change the world, make shitload 'a money, and have fun. *dipshit* |
I agree with you about people complaining about something and then they go straight back to the thing they are complaining about but I think Downloadable games from both sides of the consol war are rediculously over priced. They don't have to be put on disk, Boxed and shipped off to the stores, but they cost just as much as the retail version. Let him have that argument

What is your point ? Me and the rest of the 360 community are suckers ?
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

id like to say as a member of the 360 community, that MANY times i bought stuff on live and felt like a sucker.
marketplace has snookered me over and over tbh.
@Sardauk, you called the Xbox customers "suckers" yourself, but now you want your friend the xbot mod to ban me? I'm leaving now....touchy.
