Why are trophies such a big deal? What do they provide besides bragging rights?
I just don't see lack of trophies as a good reason to pass up one of the best games this gen... |
Because it's my money and I spend it however I want it, if the developer is not gonna take the time to implement a trophy feature and the SDK is readily available for everybody, I'm not gonna buy the game.
No trophies = No buy.
As great as Dissidia: Final Fantasy is, Valkyria remains the best game i've played this gen... so yeah... leave selvaria alone!1!1

I fully understand the no trophies = no buy ethos, as I fall into the same territory. I like trophies for many reasons. In short: they enhance my gaming. They may not for others, but they do for me. However, this game and MGS5 are the only two I'd have to say all PS3 owners should consider buying, trophies or no.
That said, I really wish both those games had trophies. Give me them to me already!
I'm not fussed by Trophies, but agree that as they are now seen as mandatory it would be nice if certain older titles (which launched fairly without them) had them added as a patch.
VC and MGS4 seem the two obvious candidates for me, but I'd like to see Folklore and similar titles also get them.
It would just make the back catalogue more consistent, and I'm sure that many of those titles would see enough additional sales to warrant the effort.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
I like it a lot.
Though i think the fact that you could issue units more then one order made the game broken.
The Computer never used it and always ended up having way more actions they could ever need and never used it even when it just could be used for more firing actions.
Made the game need a lot less strategy.
I actually restricted myself to how the computer played to make it more challenging.

Really? I've had the computer issue some of their units up to 3x in a turn.
I played the demo, it was good but not something id go out and buy, but if someone bought it me id be happy :) hint hint
The demo sucks compared to the real game. Or so I heard at least. I liked VC so much that I bought it before I even got a PS3 (and like few months before).
If u like something new then buy it.
