I've noticed that people here who have small post counts (say, under 500 or so) are often bashed and called out for their opinions more than those who have posted in the forums for longer/more frequently. This mentality is going to scare off a lot of new members because they're going to be afraid of being chastised by others for expressing their opinions. Sure, some of them are illogical but they should still be allowed to express them without being bashed as long as they have a decent explanation as to why they think the way they do.
Can we ease up on people with smaller post counts, if only a little? Everyone starts off with zero posts, so they're no different than the various gods, near gods ( CGI), and crazies (Soriku).

I laughed a little bit when I read this, because it is me. But I have never really been bashed or called out. I try to stay as neutral as possible in my posts, even though it is very clear that I am a PS3 guy (but I have a 360 in my closet, not a joke, it's really in there, a friend gave it to me, no power brick though).
Half the time I don't post, because I don't want to come off so harsh when something really pushes my buttons. When this happens, I usually stare at the screen and say screw it, then close the tab.
Going back to the reason why I lauged, I had felt for a short bit of time that maybe nobody could see my posts, as nobody had replied to my more offensive/defensive replies, or my cute witty comedic ones. Though, part of that problem might be because I usually don't check the threads that I have previously posted too often. I need to work on that, considering I'm here about 80% of the time that I am on my computer.
Ok, I don't really know where I was going with this, and if I were the normal me I would just close the tab and forget about replying, but screw it. To sum it up, personally I feel the opposite, and in the words of Marvin Gaye, let's get it on! (but not in a sexual way)
