^ yes i saw it too.
what great 3rd party franchise is left that isn't on 360? there is nothing else for them to buy

They might. Clearly MS has the smallest first party capability of the 3 main players, plus it's now a given most third party developers will go multi-platform in the majority of cases - so MS will have to invest in exclusives.
I don't really see them as buying Sony exclusives, though. SE for example are free to put their games on whatever platform they want, including 360. The major Sony / Nintendo franchises belong to them and are therefore out of reach. Anything else is just business.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

it would be resonable if it was the wii, you dont see people saying this for nintendo, for dragon quest X or monster hunter 3.
because wii have the highest user base in japan and they likely to do better there as exclusives than on the ps3 or the 360,
but exclusive to the lowest selling consoles ever in japan?.
and whatever multiplatform there will sell X4 on the ps3 (and growing).
even exclusikve WKC sold over 350k in japan alone, it doesn't make sense.
and microsoft have said tons of time they will "break the bank" for timed exclusives or DLC.
some of you have balls handing to the ground... Microsoft buying out games? They make deals... these deals sometimes have financial incentives such as cash loans or financially supporting the development of the game. In some cases the game may have been on a chopping block due to lack of funds or resources until MS made a move for the game. In most cases Microsoft has support from an co-advertising side... MS pays for a certain amount of ads and they get exclusivity for a certain amount of time. These are all things that Sony has done for the past 16 years
I don't know but if they steal miyamoto and buy the zelda franchise, game over.

I'm just saying while MS are undoutably paying (in some form or another) for certain titles or DLC, they aren't really able to touch true 1st party Sony / Nintendo exclusives.
Just because a third party studio previously released on one platform (for cost reasons or whatever) doesn't mean they will stay exclusive.
As for jRPGs - I agree, but remember 360 released first, and was available to develop for first. MS either funded titles or got them first by default, but soon you'll see Tales, etc. on PS3 and now such titles will most likely be multi-platform from the start.
I prefer having you own studios to funding titles like MS does, but that doesn't make it somehow unfair.
In the end, if MS have to pay way over the odds for titles and DLC then in the end it will affect the profits of their gaming division unless they secure a dominant lead (which clearly isn't going to happen).

I hear Miyamoto doesn't even take a high salary from nintendo. Some people/things can't be bought with money.

Woah why pick on Ms. There a company, so they need to make deals and money. Such sad fanboys.

@Aion: Just asked questions didnt pick on them. So what is your opinion concerning this? Would you appreciate it if Sony / Ninty would have done this in the current generation and franchises like Dead or Alive (cant figure out a better 3rd party exclusive atm) would have moved to one of the other systems without a replace on X360? Ask yourself ;)
@CGI: They have deleted the video from TGS 07 where you could see the "Exclusive for PS3" tag in the end. That sucks!
