Well as stated in the title, i don't have a genuine XP version installed on my PC. But in order to install Vista, or to upgrade to it, i need to have SP2 installed or otherwise all my old files will be deleted. So.. anyone got an idea how to get past this obstacle?

 nah if i go to the microsoft site it will ask for validation and then it goes through some kind of process and then it finds out i have an illegal version of it. Also, if i download it, which i already have, during the installation it asks for validation again, so i need some kind of crack or .reg file added to my windows files or something..

just download xp sp2 on torrent site. (pls warn me if this is against forum rules). I bought windows vista so i could play crysis :P, i wanted the genuine version becouse i wanted to know for sure it would update and run properly :P

 i also downloaded it through torrents, but it won't allow me to install it.. that's the case.
