Piracy's a red herring anyway- most people doing it wouldn't have bought the games even if it was impossible to pirate them.

Hacking a Wii is easy and now PC games are more protected (Batman Arkham Asylum for exemple).

DRM's useless against piracy. Once it's cracked, it's cracked forever and pirates never have to put up with it. Complete waste of time and money- unless of course it's there to restrict second hand sales, which seems a more likely use.

Oh, you mean the gliding 'bug' over the instant death pit? I don't know if it's been fixed by the community, but a quick search finds an easy workaround.

I'm not sure if there are others, but there could be stuff like false grapple locations as well (from the same place I saw a comment about the glide workaround).

If i had a good gaming computer i would game on it constantly. All of the money that is spent upgrading would have been spent on buying the console + controller+ extras anyway.

The protection that got removed within a week of release? Frankly, I'd rather developers spent their time pleasing their customers than annoying pirates- unless a significant proportion of people who pirated the game got sufficiently annoyed to actually buy it, it's a completely wasted effort.
